My Fans Are Awesome

That subject still feels a little weird to me, but it’s true — I have people who are fans of me and my work. For some reason, a lot of it all came in this week, and in a variety of forms.

Eddy Webb, I Envy You: A blog post by Daniel Perez of Highmoon Media about how he covets my job.

Collection of Horrors: I got a LiveJournal letter from about the Collection of Horrors. As this was a pretty big gamble for me, I’m glad it’s being received so well.

First of all – kudos, Eddy. I mean, *damn*.

I purchased the CoH for our Hunter group, and we have been getting a ton of mileage out of it. Bruce Baugh suggested I drop you a note directly, so, well, here it is.

So, hat’s off to you and the Collection of Horrors team. I guarantee if you do another, I’ll be there cash in hand. Well done, sir, well done.

Podcast: I’m also starting to hit my stride with the White Wolf Blogcast, and a few people have said some really nice things about it. Here’s an email I got this week.

I’ve been listening to the backlog of casts, and just wanted to say thanks. The show really sparked my interest in the White Wolf stuff again. The only White Wolf game that I’ve ever actually played is Vampire: the Eternal Struggle, but I loved just reading the old Vampire sourcebooks as well as the novels. Good stuff.

Thanks for the podcasts. Keep up the good work.

I do not often take a moment to enjoy praise — very often I deflect it onto my co-workers and freelancers who do an amazing job taking my hair-brained ideas and making them into an awesome reality — but this kind of feedback really helps to keep me going.

You guys are awesome. Thank you so much for sticking with me and supporting me over the years.
