D&D: It has pulled from MMO terminology, but I’ve found that it actually makes the game more fun for me. Combat is an enjoyable experience instead of a chore.

D&D 4e scares the hell out of me. It seems too much like a MMO for my taste. But I must admit I had the same attitude toward 3.5e when I was forced to play. If I hadn’t been forced in it, I would still be playing good old 2e.
For a good tower defender, I play Desktop Defender on facebook. I play at least one game a day and every week you get a new map.

They both really, really are. I haven’t yet convinced myself to buy anything more than $20 through digital, but it’s a slippery slope.

Same with GoG.com. Digital distribution is the most dangerous game of all.

It went from “a convenient way to look for a particular game I might be looking for” to a treasured spot on my quicklaunch bar. Steam is awesome.

Thanks for bringing the LucasArts Adventure Pack to my attention! (Because I know you write this blog just for me.) I’ve yet to work Steam into my weekly gaming routine and often miss some of the better deals.
